T4innovation
T4i operates in the emerging field of mini-satellites, particularly in two critical areas of this market: orbit access and orbiting. The start-up develops products that allow satellites to reach customized orbits in order to make the best use of their capabilities. T4i has developed in particular a low cost plasma propulsion system, the Mini Helicon Thruster (MHT), designed for different types of satellite platforms. Helicon technology has been fully developed within the University of Padua as part of a European FP7 project.
